Tableau Description : We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Tableau Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive and insightful dashboards and visualizations using Tableau. You will work with large datasets, leveraging your SQL and Python skills to prepare and analyze data for effective presentation in Tableau. Proficiency in Tableau Prep for data preparation and cleansing is essential. We are looking for immediate joiners who are passionate about data visualization and eager to contribute to data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop to meet business requirements. - Apply best practices in data visualization to create clear, concise, and impactful dashboards that effectively communicate insights. - Connect Tableau to various data sources, including databases, data warehouses, flat files, and cloud-based platforms. - Utilize Tableau Prep to clean, shape, and transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis and visualization in Tableau Desktop. - Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases. - Utilize Python programming skills for data manipulation, automation of tasks, and integration with Tableau (e.g., using TabPy). - Optimize Tableau dashboards and workbooks for performance and scalability. - Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions. - Perform thorough testing and validation of Tableau dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability. - Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for Tableau dashboards, data sources, and processes. - Identify and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards, data connections, and performance. - Keep abreast of the latest features and updates in Tableau and related technologies. Required Skills : - Strong understanding of Tableau Desktop functionalities, including creating visualizations, working with parameters, calculations, actions, and publishing to Tableau Server/Cloud. - Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and potential integration with Tableau. - Hands-on experience in using Tableau Prep to cleanse, shape, and prepare data for analysis. - Proven experience in developing interactive and insightful dashboards using Tableau Desktop (ref:hirist.tech)
