Job Description : We are seeking a skilled SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) Consultant to join our growing data engineering and analytics team. In this role, you will play a key part in building, integrating, and optimizing enterprise-grade data models and pipelines using SAP Datasphere. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on SAP DWC experience and a solid understanding of modern data architecture and integration strategies. Key Responsibilities : - Configure and manage source system connections including both SAP (e.g., S/4HANA, BW/4HANA) and non-SAP data sources. - Perform data ingestion and acquisition of structured and semi-structured data (including CSVs, flat files, remote tables). - Create and maintain data flows, replication flows, and task chains for batch and real-time data movement. - Implement data federation and replication strategies using SAP Datasphere's built-in tools. - Schedule data loads and monitor jobs for performance and error handling. - Build robust Analytical and Semantic Data Models using the Data Builder and Business Builder. - Model complex datasets using SQL scripting, joins, unions, filters, and calculated columns. - Apply advanced modeling techniques such as type casting, derived attributes, and semantic tagging. - Ensure proper metadata management, reusability of models, and logical separation using Spaces. - Enable and deploy SAP-delivered standard content packages and customize as needed for business use cases. - Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other BI tools for visualization. - Manage Spaces, roles, access control, and data privacy configurations. - Define and enforce data governance, security, and lifecycle policies within SAP Datasphere. - 23 years of hands-on experience working with SAP Datasphere / SAP Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC). - Proven skills in data integration across SAP and non-SAP systems. - Strong command of data modeling techniques and SQL. - Solid understanding of data transformation, replication, and ETL/ELT principles. - Experience in creating analytical datasets for reporting, KPIs, and dashboards. - Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules and underlying ABAP Dictionary tables. - Familiarity with SAP BW, HANA Calculation Views, and SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus. - Good problem-solving and debugging skills. - Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
