Senior Snowflake Developer - Data Warehousing

Senior Snowflake Developer We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to join our team in a hybrid work environment across Pune, Gurgaon, or Noida. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in developing Snowflake data models, data ingestion, views, stored procedures, and complex queries. This role requires proficiency in SQL, experience with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter or IICS, and the ability to provide production support for data warehouse issues. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop Snowflake data models, including tables, views, and stored procedures. - Implement data ingestion processes using Snowpipe, streams, and tasks. - Optimize complex queries for performance and scalability. - Utilize ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or IICS for data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Develop and maintain ETL workflows to support data integration needs. - Provide timely support for data warehouse issues, including data load problems and transformation errors. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions. - Document implementations clearly to ensure understanding across teams. - Conduct thorough testing of data models and ETL processes to ensure accuracy and reliability. - Facilitate and coordinate discussions with multiple stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with business Skills and Qualifications : - Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake development. - Experience with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter or IICS. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. - Minimum of 8 years in data warehousing and Snowflake development. - Proven track record of delivering complex data integration solutions. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps : - Snowflake certification or equivalent (ref:hirist.tech)
