Data Warehouse Consultant - ETL

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Warehouse Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes, data modeling, and business intelligence, with extensive experience in managing large-scale data environments. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the architecture and design of data warehouse solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business requirements. - Develop and implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse. - Design and implement data models (OLTP and OLAP) using tools like ERwin, Sybase PowerDesigner, or similar. - Conduct performance tuning of ETL processes and database queries to enhance efficiency. - Implement best practices for data storage, indexing, and partitioning to optimize query performance. - Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data integrity and compliance. - Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to maintain high-quality data standards. - Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. - Provide training and support to end-users and junior team members. - Utilize a variety of tools and technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years in data warehousing, with a proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale data warehouse solutions. - Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and query optimization. - Strong experience with ETL tools and processes. - Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions. - Knowledge of data modeling techniques and tools. - Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft, AWS). - Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). - Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
