Title : Denodo Engineer (SME). Location : INDIA (Remote). Experience : 8 years. Type : Contract (12 months, extendable). Shift : India ( 9 am to 6 pm IST). Technical Requirements : - Installation, configuration, monitoring and support of Denodo platform including upgrades and maintenance of security. - Diagnose any issues including errors and performance topics. - Work with Denodo technical support leading to resolution. - Address most technical questions concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture and general feature / functionality of our product. - Experience in developing Data Model by Data Virtualization techniques using Denodo 8.x by connecting to multiple data sources such as Redshift, Databricks, S3, BigQuery, RDS MySQL, and RDS Postgresql. - Experience in creating Data Models by extracting the data from various data sources by connecting through JDBC and ODBC. - Experience in publishing data sources on REST and SOAP based web services. - Experience in creating Base Views, Derived Views, Joins, Unions, Projection, Selection, union, Minus, Flatten Views, Interface and associations of data service layers in Denodo. - Experience in designing, configuring, deploying, managing and automating AWS Core Services like S3, IAM, EC2, Route53, SNS, SQS, ELB, CloudWatch, Lambda and VPC. - Experience in automating cloud deployments using Terraform and/or Ansible. - Experience in DevOps. - Python experience is preferred. - Knowledge on Databricks, AWS data platform services like Redshift, s3, EMR, Glue, and Athena. Qualifications : - 8 years of experience in Data Virtualization, Administration and development. - Administration experience to include installation, configuration, security, cache management in a highly available enterprise environment. - 5 years of experience in requirement analysis, design and data service layer creation in Denodo. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs. - Good communication skills to interact with client, team members, support personnel, and provide technical guidance and expertise to customers and management. - Ability to work in a self-directed work environment. Responsibilities : - Provide efficient service management by resolving incidents, fulfilling service requests and change requests within SLA. - Identify and work on Kaizens (continuous optimization) to improve the platform with automation and silent operations. - The complete lifecycle of resources in the platform must be managed via Terraform based infra as code. - All configurations must be done in accordance with the defined standards, practices (ex: CICD, approved patterns) and security requirements. - Collaborate within the team and outside the team as necessary, plan the leaves as per leave policy, attend the required meetings without fail. - Provide required coverage across shifts or on-call, be flexible to work across shifts. - Follow agile practices, and all deliverables must be delivered within the committed sprints. - Learn new technologies or tools added to the platform, support their integration and maintenance.
