SAP Blue Yonder Consultant

Experience : 5 years of relevant experience in SAP Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) implementations and support. Job Description : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Blue Yonder Consultant to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your deep expertise in Blue Yonder solutions to collaborate with business stakeholders, analyze requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of our clients' supply chain planning processes using the Blue Yonder suite of applications. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a global, hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities : Requirements Gathering and Analysis : Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across various departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Sales) and project teams to thoroughly understand their business processes, challenges, and objectives related to supply chain planning. Translate these business needs into clear and concise functional and technical requirements. Blue Yonder Solution Design : Utilize your deep knowledge of Blue Yonder modules (including but not limited to Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Fulfillment, Transportation Planning, Warehouse Management) to design effective and efficient solutions that align with client requirements and best practices. Configuration and Implementation : Participate in the configuration and implementation of Blue Yonder modules, ensuring adherence to design specifications, data integrity, and system performance. Testing and Validation : Support all phases of testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, document, and resolve any defects or issues encountered during testing. Troubleshooting and Support : Provide timely and effective support for Blue Yonder system issues, including debugging, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Work closely with technical teams to resolve complex issues. Collaboration and Communication : Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, technical developers, infrastructure teams, and client stakeholders. Maintain clear and proactive communication regarding project status, risks, and issues. Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals. Knowledge Sharing and Best Practices : Stay updated with the latest Blue Yonder product developments, industry best practices, and emerging trends. Share knowledge and contribute to the development of internal best practices and methodologies. User Training and Support : Assist in the development and delivery of user training materials and provide post-implementation support to end-users. Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvement within the Blue Yonder environment. Top Skills Required : Blue Yonder Expertise : - In-depth functional and configuration knowledge of at least two or more core Blue Yonder modules, such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and/or other relevant modules. - Strong understanding of Blue Yonder data models, integration points, and system architecture. - Experience with Blue Yonder implementation methodologies and best practices. - Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions within the Blue Yonder framework. - Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business users, technical teams, and management at various levels. Ability to present technical information in a clear and understandable manner. - Business Process Understanding : Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and their integration with other business functions (e.g., Sales, Finance, Manufacturing). - Teamwork and Collaboration : Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, both within the immediate team and with cross-functional stakeholders. - Adaptability and Learning Agility : Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and learn new Blue Yonder functionalities and technologies quickly. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SAP Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) implementations and support. - Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder configuration, testing, and deployment. - Familiarity with integration technologies relevant to Blue Yonder (e.g., APIs, ETL tools). - Experience in the Consumer Goods, Retail, Manufacturing, or a related industry is preferred. - SAP certification in relevant Blue Yonder modules is a plus.
