Technical Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities : - Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to define sprint goals and manage product backlogs. - Facilitate team productivity by identifying and removing impediments. - Act as a bridge between development teams, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders. - Track and report sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to ensure transparency and continuous improvement. - Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation strategies. - Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Technical Expectations : - Ability to understand technical discussions and contribute meaningfully in areas like architecture, code quality, and devops processes. - Coordinate and work closely with developers, testers, and DevOps to align delivery goals. - Familiar with version control systems (e.g, Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices. - Strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS or Azure). - Can assist in story sizing, estimation, and refinement from a technical perspective when required. - 7 years of experience in Agile project management, with at least 2 years in a technical Scrum Master role. - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications. Added Advantage : - Technical background (hands-on experience or academic) in software development or engineering. - Experience working with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills. - Proven ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. - Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones. - Exposure to modern frontend/backend stacks (Java, Spring Boot, React, Angular, Node.js, etc. - Familiarity with QA processes and automation tools.
