AutoCAD Developer

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Develop custom AutoCAD plugins, scripts, and applications using AutoLISP, VBA, .NET (C# or VB.NET), and ObjectARX. - Create and modify Dynamic Blocks, Templates, and Libraries to streamline design processes. - Automate repetitive tasks using scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy. - Integrate AutoCAD with Excel, Revit, ERP systems, and other software for seamless data exchange. - Provide technical support for AutoCAD-related issues and troubleshoot errors in custom scripts. - Optimize AutoCAD performance by identifying and fixing workflow bottlenecks. - Assist in migrating legacy AutoCAD customizations to newer versions. - Develop and implement CAD standards to ensure project consistency. - Stay updated with latest AutoCAD features, APIs, and industry trends to explore new enhancements. - Manage multiple development projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Conduct testing and quality assurance for custom tools and workflows. Skills & Qualifications : - Proficiency in AutoCAD and its APIs (AutoLISP, .NET, ObjectARX). - Strong programming skills in C#, VB.NET, Python, or AutoLISP. - Experience with AutoCAD customization, including unit testing of AutoCAD products. - Knowledge of CAD standards and best practices. - Experience in Retail Space Planning (preferred). - Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering tools. - Knowledge of database integration (SQL, Oracle PL/SQL). - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills (ref:hirist.tech)
