Job Description

As an HR Manager , you will: Develop and execute HR priorities that support the GTCs business and growth objectives. Provide coaching and guidance to leaders at all levels on people-related matters. Support them in building high-performing teams, improving employee engagement, and driving organizational change. Ensure alignment of global HR policies and processes with local regulations and business needs. Build a strong employer brand in the region, to enable a pipeline of talent to be drawn to Dr Martens. Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implement effective hiring strategies. Partner with external recruitment partners to attract top talent. Oversee onboarding programs to ensure cultural integration and seamless transition for new hires. Develop and execute employee engagement and social initiatives to foster a positive work environment and strong working relationships Join global HR squad teams to shape company-wide approaches and programmes in culture, talent and DE&I that will enhance employee engagement and retention. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the GTC. Execute the cyclical people processes across the employee lifecycle, including talent reviews & succession planning, salary review and engagement surveys. Partner with global HR teams to design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs, to ensure retain talent and remain an attractive employer of choice in the region Ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with local labour laws, and HR operational efficiency. Oversee local HR systems and how we manage personal data, ensuring compliance with Data Protection laws through partnership with the Data Protection Team. Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers on HR-related matters. Act as a member of the compliance network, ensure compliance with health & safety practices, company policies, and promoting DM's 'Speak Up' process and completion of mandatory training. Handle employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with fairness and transparency and aligned to relevant laws and policies. THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Must-Have Skills: 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a GCC, shared services, or multinational organization. You are passionate about building an organisation where individuality, creativity, and authenticity are at the heart of what we do and can bring this passion to your work. You have a strong understanding of local HR practices and labour laws. You have the know-how and experience in building culture and teams. You thrive working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. You have experience in driving change and implementing HR best practices in a dynamic setup. You are a collaborative communicator , able to build strong relationships with managers and leaders at all levels and provide insightful guidance to help them achieve their people and business objectives and develop cross functional collaboration. You are data-savvy, using analytics to guide your recommendations and track the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Education: Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in HR are a plus. Nice to Have: HR Experience in the retail industry, particularly within a global context. There are 3 core values at the heart of who we are.
