Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically within Trading and Supply (T&S). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of process flows, design thinking methodologies, and both Waterfall and Agile frameworks. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, developing business cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. Responsibilities : - Collaborate with functional partners (Compliance, Finance, HR, Risk, Legal, Procurement, Health & Safety, IT) to gather and analyze business requirements. - Document business requirements clearly and concisely. - Develop process flows and process designs. - Apply extensive knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, focusing on Trading and Supply (T&S) domain. - Understand and optimize E2E value through Product Trading, Crude Trading, Energy Trading, and LNG Marketing & Trading. - Provide T&S operational support for Commercial Operations, Distribution Operations & Midstream, and Shipping & Maritime. Methodologies and Tools : - Utilize Design Thinking methodology to develop innovative solutions. - Apply knowledge of Waterfall and Agile frameworks in project execution. - Employ business analysis tools such as MS Visio, Figma, and Azure DevOps. - Understand system engineering concepts and data/process analysis and modeling. - Take a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving. - Pay close attention to detail. - Develop cost/benefit analyses and build compelling business cases. - Demonstrate strong interpersonal and influencing skills. - Communicate concisely and clearly with stakeholders. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Be willing to travel and work flexibly (EU hours). Requirements : Experience : - 3 - 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst. - Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with a focus on Trading and Supply (T&S). - Understanding of Supply Chain, ETRMs (Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems), and commodity trading. Technical Skills : - Knowledge of process flows and process design. - Understanding of Design Thinking methodology. - Experience working in Waterfall and Agile frameworks. - Understanding of system engineering concepts and data/process analysis and modeling. - Proficiency in BA tools like MS Visio, Figma, and Azure DevOps.
