Job Title : Data Analytics - Oracle PL/SQL Data ModelerWork Location : Bangalore Mandatory / Preferred Skills : Technical Skills : - Oracle PL/SQL - Strong knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning. - Data Warehousing Projects - Experience in handling large-scale data warehouse implementations. - Data Modelling (Dimensional) - Expertise in designing dimensional models for analytical reporting. - Data Modelling (DataVault) - Understanding and implementing Data Vault methodology. - Data Modelling Tools - Hands-on experience with tools like SAP PowerDesigner, ERWin, Oracle SQL Data Modeler, etc. - ETL & Performance Tuning - Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes, including ETL and DB performance tuning, table partitioning. - Power BI Know-how - Basic knowledge of creating reports and dashboards in Power BI. Skill Areas & Details : Software/Application (Mandatory) : - Expertise in data and dimensional modeling for data warehousing. - Experience working with Oracle SQL PL/SQL views, procedures, functions. - Ability to extract data (from Oracle, SQL, Excel) and create data models per business requirements. - Hands-on experience in handling cross-domain data models within data warehouse projects. Programming Languages (Mandatory) : - Development of backend programs, including stored procedures, functions, packages, cursors, collections, triggers, and materialized views using SQL and PL/SQL. - Power BI report development knowledge is an added advantage. Additional Skills (Optional but Preferred) : - Ability to understand business requirements and collaborate with source system experts, platform owners, and stakeholders to model data effectively. - Reviewing and approving all product/solution architecture proposals. - Coordinating with central teams for architectural approvals and communicating business requirements to Oracle developers. Soft Skills : - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong coordination and inter-personal skills. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables : - Customer Interaction : Engage with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into logical, conceptual, and physical data models. - Data Modeling : Work with tools like ERWin, Oracle SQL Data Modeler, or SAP PowerDesigner to create and refine data models. - Business Analysis : Convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications. - Collaboration : Work closely with source system experts to finalize source-to-report mapping. - Data Replication : Coordinate with the central team to replicate tables from source systems to the data lake. - Development Support : Assist Oracle developers in design and development activities. - Project Management : Create detailed activity plans with timelines, ensuring project deliverables are met efficiently. - Testing & Deployment : Conduct unit and integration testing, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data models. - User Training & Support : Provide guidance to key users in report utilization and offer support during the stabilization phase.
