Blue Yonder Solution Architect - Transport Management System

Job Title : Blue Yonder (BY) TMS Solutions Architect Experience : 13 Years in Blue Yonder TMS (Transport Management System) Job Description : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Blue Yonder TMS Solutions Architect with a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions and providing technical leadership in complex BY TMS implementations. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of BY TMS technical architecture, hands-on experience in development activities, and the ability to lead projects from design to deployment while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities : - Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for Blue Yonder TMS (Transportation Management System) solutions. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, client managers, and technical teams to analyze requirements, problem statements, and propose optimal solutions. - Design and document end-to-end technical solutions, including non-functional requirements, architectural frameworks, estimates, and technical proposals. - Lead and participate in fit-gap analyses, deployment activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Develop and modify DDA (Data Driven Applications) and web pages using Page Builders. - Provide technical support in the development of custom JDA TMS programs for data conversions, interfaces, reports, and application enhancements. - Perform debugging, issue resolution, and performance tuning activities. - Lead the development and testing of new enhancements and manage application release control (version management). - Coordinate and manage BY Support Tickets and replicate/resolve internal system bugs. - Ensure all technical designs and developments adhere to architectural standards and roadmaps. - Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) activities to demonstrate proposed solutions. - Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development and support teams. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge on multiple JDA TMS versions and other BY modules (preferred). Mandatory Skills : - 13 years of experience with Blue Yonder TMS (BY TMS). - Strong experience in TMOD (Transportation Modeler). - Expertise in development, creation, and modification of DDA and web pages using Page Builders. - In-depth knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning, functional and interface design. - Strong hands-on experience with JDA TM3 and other BY modules (preferred). - Proven experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution using trace files. - Ability to lead technical teams, provide guidance, perform reviews, and make key technical decisions independently. - Experience with application version control and release management processes. - Strong understanding of retail domain functional processes related to transportation and supply chain planning. - Excellent communication and customer interaction skills. Good to Have : - Working experience on other JDA modules. - Experience with developing utilities, procedures, and documentation based on customer requirements.
