Data Analytics Leader - SQL/Power BI

Primary Responsibilities : - Provide strategic leadership and direction to a global Data & Analytics team, cultivating a high-performance culture grounded in innovation and continuous improvement. - Demonstrate exceptional communication and stakeholder management to align business and technical goals. - Drive the IT organizations Data & Analytics strategy in alignment with broader business objectives. - Foster strong partnerships across IT, business leaders, and data-driven transformation. - Promote best practices in data engineering (SQL), reporting & analytics (Power BI), and data science disciplines across the enterprise. - Manage robust data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and storage using modern ETL/ELT frameworks. - Oversee the end-to-end development of dashboards, data models, and visualizations using Power BI. - Operate within Agile delivery frameworks, ensuring efficient project tracking, sprint execution, and resource optimization. - Lead Data Warehouse support operations, ensuring SLA compliance and high service reliability. - Implement and maintain comprehensive data governance policies to uphold data quality, consistency, and integrity. - Ensure ongoing compliance with data privacy and security standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2. Qualifications : - 16 years of experience in IT data analytics and reporting, including recent leadership of cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational change leadership skills. - Proven track record in leading enterprise-scale data initiatives and managing high-performance analytics teams. - Strong technical expertise in Power BI, SQL, Data Warehousing, and ETL/ELT tools. - Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field. Nice to Have : - Design and execute a roadmap for data platform modernization, integrating Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and cloud-native technologies. - Enable scalable data solutions through cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric. - Drive the development of Lakehouse architecture for advanced, real-time analytics. - Leverage Machine Learning and AI to unlock predictive insights and support strategic decision-making. - Optimize cloud-based data storage and processing using tools like Azure Synapse, Databricks, and related platforms. - Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Fabric) and modern data architecture principles.
