GE Smallworld Developer

Responsibilities : - Develop and customize GE Smallworld applications using Smallworld Magik programming language. - Implement and maintain solutions within the GE Smallworld Product Suite, focusing on one of the following domains : 1. Telecom : PNI (Physical Network Inventory), NIG (Network Inventory Gateway) 2. Utilities : EO (Electric Office), EO Web (Electric Office Web) 3. Gas/Water : GDO (Gas Distribution Office), GTO (Gas Transmission Office), Water Office - Develop and customize default Smallworld functionality. - Work with database systems, including VMDS and Oracle. - Utilize GE Smallworld Administration tools, ACE, CaseTool, and Style. - Implement and manage NIG (Network Inventory Gateway) or EO Web (Electric Office Web) depending on domain expertise. - Develop and manage solutions using Geospatial Server (GSS) and Geospatial Analysis (GSA). - Troubleshoot and resolve Smallworld application issues. - Develop and maintain technical documentation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver geospatial solutions. Must-Have Skills : - Proficient in GE Smallworld Product Suite - Telecom Domain (PNI, NIG) OR - Proficient in GE Smallworld Product Suite - Utilities Domain (EO, EO Web) OR - Proficient in GE Smallworld Product Suite - Gas/Water Domain (GDO, GTO, Water Office) - Proficient in Smallworld Magik Programming language. - Experience in Smallworld Magik application development and customization in default functionality. - Experience in database VMDS and Oracle. - Experience in GE Smallworld Administration tool, ACE, CaseTool and Style. - Experience in NIG (Network Inventory Gateway) OR EO Web (Electric Office Web) depending on domain. - Experience in Geospatial Server (GSS). - Experience in Geospatial Analysis (GSA). Good-to-Have Skills : - JavaScript, jQuery, HTML. - Kubernetes Understanding. - Basic Cloud knowledge. - PL/SQL. - FME (Feature Manipulation Engine). Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in GE Smallworld development and customization. - Strong understanding of geospatial data management. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
