IT System Analyst - Ticketing System

About the Role : We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented IT System Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. As a System Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders, business users, and the IT team to gather requirements, analyze system capabilities, and propose solutions that align with organizational goals. You will play a critical role in enhancing the performance and scalability of our IT systems and ensuring smooth integration with business processes. Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with stakeholders and business units to understand and document system requirements and business processes. - Analyze existing IT systems and recommend improvements or new technologies to enhance functionality and performance. - Prepare detailed system specifications, use cases, workflow diagrams, and technical documentation. - Work with development and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Conduct feasibility studies, gap analyses, and impact assessments for new system features or upgrades. - Participate in system design, integration, and testing phases to ensure optimal performance. - Act as a liaison between end-users, vendors, and technical teams to resolve issues and ensure system alignment. - Support system implementation, data migration, and training for end-users. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose long-term fixes. - Ensure compliance with security policies, data governance, and IT best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - 37 years of experience as a System Analyst, IT Analyst, or in a similar IT/business analysis role. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and business process modeling. - Proficient in creating BRDs, FRDs, workflow diagrams, and use case documentation. - Experience with requirements gathering techniques like interviews, workshops, surveys, and JAD sessions. - Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL), data modeling, and system integrations. - Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems, enterprise software, or custom-built applications. - Hands-on experience with ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow) and project management tools (Confluence, Trello, etc. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall development environments. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa. Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills : - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with integration tools/APIs (REST, SOAP). - Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). - Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, or automation workflows is a plus. - ITIL Foundation Certification or other relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.) is a plus.
