ABOUT THE ROLE : Technical Lead to take ownership of support, delivery, and technical oversight for our established .NET Angular SaaS platform and its mobile application. This is not a greenfield development role. Instead, it focuses on stability, proactive issue resolution, continuous improvement, and process adherence in a production environment. The role involves 30% coding and 70% leadership activities, including support, team coordination, prioritization, mentoring, delivery tracking, and problem management. ABSOLUTE MUST SKILLS : Support Ownership & Problem Management : - The core of the role is ensuring platform stabilityso the candidate must have proven experience in handling production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing durable fixes within a live SaaS environment. Delivery & Prioritization Skills : - Since this candidate is responsible for coordinating fixes, enhancements, and team output, they must excel at delivery planning, task prioritization, and cross-team coordination (especially with QA and Product). Legacy Codebase Proficiency : - The candidate should be fully comfortable working in and leading teams around legacy .NET and Angular codebasesthis includes being confident in debugging, hot fixing, and understanding undocumented features. Process, Compliance & Monitoring Discipline : - Strong understanding and execution of process compliance, technical standards, and change control. - They must also be comfortable with monitoring tools to ensure system observability and response readiness. Mentorship & Team Guidance : - Ability to mentor, review, and guide developers in improving the codebase and adhering to support and delivery best practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Lead support and delivery planning, ensuring that issues, bug fixes, and improvements are properly prioritized and delivered on schedule. - Own the problem and change management lifecyclefrom root cause analysis to implementation and communication. - Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement areas across the platform and team practices. - Maintain a support-first mindset with a focus on production stability, user impact, and SLA adherence. - Coordinate and validate code reviews, hotfixes, and incremental refactors to improve long-term maintainability. - Mentor developers on legacy code understanding, support practices, and development discipline. - Monitor system health and key metrics in collaboration with DevOps; respond to and learn from incidents. - Enforce technical and process compliance, ensuring code and practices align with agreed standards and organizational policies. - Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for recurring issues, fixes, system behavior, and support workflows. - Drive consistent process compliance in delivery, support response, and engineering communication. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE : Legacy Tech Stack Expertise : - Hands-on experience with .NET (Framework/Core), C#, Angular (8), and SQL Server. - Strong debugging skills and the ability to navigate and stabilize complex legacy systems. Support, Delivery & Operations Ownership : - Proven ability to prioritize and manage delivery of fixes and enhancements in a live product. - Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and implementing durable fixes. - Skilled in problem managementnot just fixing issues, but improving system resilience. Proactive Problem Solver & Change Manager : - Self-driven and proactive in spotting inefficiencies or risk areas before they become problems. - Experienced in managing change carefully in legacy systems to avoid regressions. Monitoring, Validation & Compliance : - Comfortable working with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, ELK, Sentry) to track uptime and incidents. - Capable of validating fixes and patches across environments before production release. - Ensures technical and process compliance, working with QA and DevOps as needed. Mentorship & Team Coordination : - Strong mentorship skillshelping developers grow while guiding them in legacy best practices. - Experience leading cross-functional collaboration between Product, QA, DevOps, and Support teams. - Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and prioritization skills. NICE TO HAVE : - Domain experience in fleet management, transportation, or vehicle tracking SaaS. - Familiarity with mobile technologies (Android / IOS mobile app support). - Understanding of cloud migration or modernization initiatives (not required to drive architecture).
