Industry experience : Retail/ : - Conduct thorough data analysis on large and diverse datasets to uncover key trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business improvements within the Retail/FMCG context. - Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Power BI dashboards and interactive reports, connecting to various data sources and ensuring optimal performance and user experience. - Write complex and efficient DAX measures and calculations to support insightful visualizations and ensure the performance of Power BI dashboards. - Utilize strong SQL skills, preferably on Databricks, to query, manipulate, and transform data for Power BI consumption. - Leverage PySpark knowledge to perform data transformations and analysis on large datasets within the Databricks environment. - Present data-driven findings, insights, and actionable recommendations to senior management through clear and concise PowerPoint presentations. - Apply knowledge of Retail/FMCG business processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and industry trends to provide relevant and impactful analysis. - Contribute to the implementation and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality, security, and compliance. - Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective BI solutions. - Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI dashboards and underlying data models. - Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for Power BI dashboards, data models, and : - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline. - 4-8 years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong focus on dashboard development. - Mandatory immediate availability to join. - Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server (if applicable). - Expert-level skills in writing DAX for complex calculations and performance optimization. - Excellent SQL skills, preferably with experience on Databricks. - Prior experience in the Retail or FMCG industry is highly desirable. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions. - Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey technical findings to non-technical audiences. - Experience with data governance principles and practices. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
