System Analyst

Job Description : We are looking for a System Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions. You will be responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing IT solutions that meet organizational goals. Youll collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure system efficiency and integrity throughout the development life cycle. Key Responsibilities : - Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications. - Evaluate existing systems and processes, and recommend system modifications or upgrades. - Design workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing detailed documentation. - Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure systems are built to spec and function effectively. - Define system integration requirements and ensure smooth data flow between platforms. - Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist users during go-live and post-deployment. - Identify system performance issues and provide recommendations for improvements. - Stay current on emerging technologies and propose solutions aligned with organizational needs. Technical Skills Required : Core Technical Skills : - Strong experience with requirements gathering, business process modeling, and use case development - Proficiency in creating BRD (Business Requirements Documents) and FRD (Functional Requirements Documents) - Hands-on experience with UML, ER diagrams, and data flow diagrams - Good knowledge of SQL for data validation, extraction, and analysis - Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations - Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile and Waterfall Tools & Technologies : - JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or other project management tools - Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar diagramming tools - Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus - Knowledge of CRM, ERP, or other enterprise applications is advantageous Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities - Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field - Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or System Analysis (CSAM) is a plus - Experience working in domains such as finance, healthcare, or retail is advantageous (ref:hirist.tech)
