Cibirix - Quality Assurance Engineer - Selenium

Responsibilities : - Apply established principles and practices of software quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle. - Analyze project requirements and specifications to identify potential risks and develop comprehensive test plans. - Undertake internal quality audits by collaborating closely with Graphic Designers, UI Developers, and Software Developers to ensure adherence to quality standards. - Perform thorough manual testing on web applications across various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Safari) to identify functional, usability, and compatibility issues. - Execute comprehensive manual testing on both iOS and Android applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience across different devices and versions. - Accurately document, track, and manage identified defects using a bug tracking system, ensuring timely resolution and verification. - Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases based on requirements and specifications. - While primarily a manual testing role, experience with and responsibility for performing automation testing using Selenium is expected. - Run tests to identify problems, deficiencies, and inconsistencies in products and projects, providing clear and concise reports. - Conduct regular internal quality audits to ensure adherence to established processes and standards. - Track and report on relevant software-related metrics, including schedule adherence, effort estimation, and defect density. - Effectively communicate testing progress, findings, and potential risks to the development team and : - Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or Software Tester. - Solid understanding of software quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Experience in analyzing project requirements and identifying potential risks. - Proven ability to perform thorough manual testing on web applications across multiple browsers. - Hands-on experience in testing iOS and Android mobile applications. - Experience in performing automation testing using Selenium is a significant requirement. - Strong skills in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports. - Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. - Strong communication and collaboration Qualifications : - Experience with performance testing or security testing. - Knowledge of different testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). - Any relevant certifications in software testing.
