As a Senior Data Engineer you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that collect, process, and store large amounts of structured and unstructured data. Develop and optimize data models for efficient querying, reporting, and to expect in your journey : - Design, developing, and implementing scalable data environments and distributed/real-time systems. - Building and maintaining cloud-based and SaaS data warehouses such as Snowflake and Data bricks and developing efficient ETL/ELT pipelines to support business intelligence, analytics, and real-time applications. - Working with cross-functional teams to integrate and build data platforms supporting BI, Analytics, Data Science, and real-time applications. - Leveraging your expertise in SQL, Python, and QA to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data across systems. - Implementing data quality strategies to ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms. - Collaborating with teams to automate data discovery and metadata management using data catalog tools like Ablation, and scripting APIs to streamline processes. - Applying Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, including source code management with Git, CI/CD, and test-driven development (TDD). - Leading projects proactively, ensuring on-time delivery and driving successful project outcomes. - Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping to initiate and drive projects you bring to the table : - 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer in a global organization. - Bachelor's degree. Technical Skills : - Use tools like ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) to automate data flows. - Advanced proficiency with SQL, Python and QA. - Some knowledge of business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. - Experience with Machine Learning is a plus. - Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing systems like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Data will you work : Mohali : Bestech Business Towers, Sec 66, Mohali.
