Azure Stack Subject Matter Expert - HCI

Job Description : Azure Stack HCI SME - Talent Worx (Client : Undisclosed) Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India About the Job (Through Talent Worx) : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Stack HCI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our client's team. This role is crucial for implementing effective infrastructure solutions and leading the planning, design, and deployment of Azure-based solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for delivering project-based assignments, including proof-of-concepts, analysis, architecture, deployment, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities : Azure Incident Management (3rd Line Support) : - Act as a 3rd line escalation point for complex Azure-related incidents. - Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution of escalated support tickets. - Share knowledge and best practices with L1 and L2 support teams. - Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Service Delivery Automation : - Develop and implement automated workflows and scripts to streamline support processes. - Identify and automate solutions for common customer environment issues. Operational Procedure Documentation : - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for support operations and procedures. Escalation Management : - Effectively escalate technical issues to professional services teams or Microsoft Premier Support as needed. - Ensure timely resolution of client issues. Knowledge Management : - Contribute to and maintain an environment for internal knowledge sharing and exchange. Requirements : Microsoft Technical Skills : - Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture (AZ-300 & AZ-301) and Azure Networking (AZ-700). - Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure solutions. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in Azure public cloud. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in Azure Stack HCI. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in Azure Stack hardware management. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in Azure Monitor. - Minimum of 4 years of experience deploying cloud-based infrastructure solutions. - Strong troubleshooting experience in Azure infrastructure and networking. - Experience with ITIL processes. - Deployment and management of Azure Active Directory with on-premises Active Directory integration. - Integration of network-to-network connectivity with Azure Virtual Network Gateways, ExpressRoute, and vendor-specific VPN appliances. - Deployment of Azure networking, load balancing, and security technologies. - Deployment of storage services on Microsoft Azure. - Deployment of virtual machines on Microsoft Azure. - Migration of existing infrastructure resources to Microsoft Azure. - Implementation of locally-redundant and geographically-redundant solutions. - Deployment of Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery services. - Strong understanding of Role-Based Access Controls and Identity Access Management policies. - Experience with network planning, design, and management. - Experience with network security concepts and practices. - Experience with Microsoft Windows Server troubleshooting. - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent relational database software. - Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. - Strong customer service orientation and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Desire to continuously learn new and emerging technologies.
