Job Description : SAP SD Consultant Company : Talent Worx (for a Big 4 Consulting Firm Client) Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Job Title : SAP SD Consultant Experience : 5 Years About the Job : Talent Worx is partnering with a leading Big 4 consulting firm to recruit a skilled SAP SD Consultant. This role will be pivotal in implementing and supporting the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, optimizing sales and distribution processes for our client's diverse clientele. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific business needs and ensure that the SAP SD solution effectively meets those requirements. Role Overview : As an SAP SD Consultant, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of SAP SD implementations, from requirements gathering and configuration to testing, training, and support. Your expertise will be crucial in streamlining sales order processing, pricing, shipping, and billing functions within the SAP environment. Key Responsibilities : - Implement, configure, and support the SAP SD module based on detailed business requirements. - Customize and personalize SAP SD functionalities to meet specific client needs. - Ensure alignment of SAP SD solutions with organizational sales and distribution policies and procedures. - Analyze existing sales and distribution business processes and identify areas for improvement within the SAP SD framework. - Propose and implement best practices for sales and distribution processes. - Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders. - Create functional specifications, configuration documents, and process flow diagrams. - Translate business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements. - Perform thorough system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) of SAP SD configurations and customizations. - Document all test cases and results comprehensively. - Identify and resolve defects and issues during testing phases. - Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on SAP SD functionalities. - Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly. - Create and maintain user documentation and training materials. - Ensure smooth data flow and integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules, such as MM (Materials Management) and FI (Financial Accounting). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration. - Manage and maintain data integrity within the SAP SD system. - Act as a primary point of contact for SAP SD-related queries and issues. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and progress reports. - Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide training. Required Qualifications : Education : Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience : - Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant with hands-on implementation and support experience. - Proven track record of successful SAP SD implementations and support. Technical Skills : In-depth knowledge of SAP SD processes, including: - Order Management - Pricing - Shipping - Billing - Availability Check - Credit Management - Experience with integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules, such as MM and FI. - Ability to write clear and concise functional specifications. Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written). - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong customer service orientation. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
