Data Engineer - Azure Fabric

Role : Senior Data Engineer Azure Fabric Experience : 8 Years Location : Bangalore / Chennai / Coimbatore / Pune Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Only Job Summary : We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data pipeline design, big data, and performance optimization, with hands-on experience in data governance, ETL, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git. You will play a key role in architecting and delivering modern data platforms and solutions for our enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines using Azure Fabric, Synapse, and Data Factory. - Develop end-to-end ETL solutions for big data ingestion, transformation, and integration. - Define and enforce data governance, quality standards, and security policies. - Collaborate with architects and analysts to build efficient data models and data warehouses. - Optimize system performance, scalability, and data processing latency. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data solutions using Azure DevOps. - Use Git for version control and manage branching strategies for data engineering projects. - Document architecture, designs, and processes while mentoring junior data engineers. Required Skills: - Azure Fabric : strong hands-on experience. - Azure Synapse Analytics : including dedicated and serverless SQL pools. - Azure Data Factory (ADF) : expertise in pipeline orchestration and integration. - Strong in ETL design, SQL scripting, and data architecture principles. - Experience with big data platforms, analytics, and data governance frameworks. - Proficient in performance tuning of data pipelines and storage. - Solid understanding of CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and Git for automated deployments and code management. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools is a plus. - Knowledge of Python or Scala for data transformation is advantageous. - Familiarity with Data Lake, Delta Lake, or Lakehouse or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
