Director : AI/ML & Gen AI YOE : 17 Years Location : Greater Noida NP : May Joiners Mandate Skills : 8 YOE in AI/ML & Min. 2 YOE in Gen AI, Candidates from Tier 1 companies only. NOTE : This is a senior role hence need candidates with excellent Technical, Management skills. Job Title: Director AI/ML & Generative AI Location : Global Delivery Center / Hybrid / Client-Site Specific Experience : 15 years (with 8 years in AI/ML, and 3 in GenAI leadership) Reports To : VP Digital Transformation / CTO / AI Practice the Role : As a Director AI/ML & Generative AI, you will architect and lead the strategic vision, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale AI initiatives, with a focus on machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and generative AI. This is a leadership role that marries deep technical prowess with business insight, driving digital transformation across Tier 1 Responsibilities & Strategy : - Define and execute the AI/ML & GenAI roadmap in alignment with corporate innovation goals. - Lead cross-functional teams across data science, engineering, and product to build scalable AI & Architecture : - Architect high-impact solutions using LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, PaLM), transformers, and deep learning stacks. - Select and integrate AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI, etc. - Drive responsible AI development (bias mitigation, model explainability, security, and & Execution : - Own end-to-end delivery of AI/ML/GenAI initiatives for Fortune 500 clients across industries (BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, etc.). - Lead PoCs to production at scale, ensuring model robustness, latency optimization, and data pipeline & Thought Leadership : - Publish whitepapers, patents, and present at industry forums. - Lead GenAI Center of Excellence (CoE); explore new frontiers like autonomous agents, multi-modal AI, and neural-symbolic Management : - Collaborate with C-suite clients to evangelize AI use-cases and influence digital strategy. - Translate business challenges into AI-first opportunities with measurable Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields (PhD preferred). - Proven experience leading AI/ML/GenAI teams in product or service-based Tier 1 firms. Deep understanding of : - Neural Networks, NLP, Computer Vision, Deep Learning - LLMs (GPT, PaLM, LLaMA), Diffusion Models, GANs - Model tuning, prompt engineering, RAG, synthetic data - MLOps, CI/CD for ML, Kubernetes, Docker, APIs (ref:hirist.tech)
