Scrum Master

Role : Scrum Master Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India About the Job : Talent Worx is partnering with a leading Big 4 Consulting firm, a global provider of financial intelligence, data analytics, and AI-driven solutions. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Scrum Master to join their team and drive the adoption of agile practices. You will play a crucial role in facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality solutions. Job Description : As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for guiding and coaching development teams in agile methodologies, specifically Scrum. You will facilitate Scrum events, remove obstacles, and ensure the team adheres to agile principles and practices. Your expertise will contribute to creating a collaborative and efficient development environment, enabling the team to deliver valuable software solutions. Responsibilities : Agile Facilitation : - Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. - Ensure clear communication and collaboration within the development team. - Guide the team in self-organization and cross-functionality. Agile Coaching and Mentoring : - Coach and mentor the team on agile principles and practices. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning. - Encourage team empowerment and ownership. Process Improvement : - Continuously improve agile processes and practices. - Facilitate discussions and workshops to identify areas for improvement. - Implement best practices and promote knowledge sharing. Stakeholder Management : - Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure alignment. - Communicate project status and progress effectively. - Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts. Tool Utilization : - Utilize project management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO) to track progress and manage tasks. - Ensure the team effectively uses these tools. Reporting and Metrics : - Track and report on team progress and metrics. - Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis. - Monitor and report on sprint velocity and burn-down charts. Framework Implementation : - Implement and support various agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. - Adapt agile methodologies to fit the specific needs of the project and team. Requirements : Experience : - Total 4-9 years of experience in IT. - 3-6 years of experience in managing projects through the entire lifecycle. - 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Project Manager. Technical Skills : - Hands-on experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), waterfall, hybrid, and agile projects. - Experience using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean Agile frameworks. - Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO). Certifications : - SAFe/CSM/PSM equivalent certification. - PMP- certification, Agile, or SAFe certification (preferred). Education : MASTER'S degree in Engineering or MBA. General Skills : - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). - Excellent coaching and mentoring skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to apply a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques to enhance the Scrum approach.
