Project Manager - Agile/Scrum Methodologies

Responsibilities : - Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of retail and wholesale IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. - Apply strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, tailoring the approach to specific project needs. - Develop comprehensive project plans, detailed schedules, and efficient resource management strategies. - Effectively manage large-scale IT projects within the retail and supply chain sectors, understanding the complexities and nuances of these industries. - Demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. - Utilize excellent communication skills to clearly and effectively convey project status, risks, and issues to all stakeholders. - Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. - Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed. - Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across diverse cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, development teams, and infrastructure teams. - Utilize project management tools such as Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, or Trello to track progress, manage tasks, and communicate effectively. - Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational standards. - Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, taking corrective actions when necessary. - Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and management. - Ensure projects are completed within the defined scope and quality standards. Skills : - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). - Expertise in project planning, scheduling, and resource management. - Experience in managing large-scale retail and supply chain IT projects. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Familiarity with tools like Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, or Trello. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget. - Strong understanding of the retail and wholesale business processes and technologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously (ref:hirist.tech)
