Role - Xstore Developer Work Mode - WFO Work Location - Hyderabad Job Type - Permanent Experience - 6 yrs Notice Period - Immediate to 15 days Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Xstore Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Oracle Xstore POS (Point of Sale) solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Oracle Retail Xstore, strong Java development skills, and expertise in POS customization, integration, and deployment for retail environments. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Retail Xstore POS applications to meet business and operational requirements. - Integrate Xstore POS with third-party applications (ERP, payment gateways, eCommerce platforms, etc.). - Enhance existing features and develop new functionalities in Xstore using Java and related technologies. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Xstore applications to ensure optimal performance and stability. - Manage version control and deployment processes for Xstore releases and updates. - Provide technical support and training for internal teams and end-users as needed. - Stay updated on Oracle Retail Xstore releases and best practices to ensure system compliance and improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Experience with Oracle Retail Xstore POS (implementation, customization, and support). - Strong Java and XML development experience. - Knowledge of POS hardware components and integration (printers, scanners, payment terminals, etc.). - Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database for data management. - Understanding of SOAP/REST APIs for system integrations. - Familiarity with retail business processes and workflows. - Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and deployment pipelines. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) : - Experience with Oracle Retail Suite (Xstore Office, ORPOS, Xcenter). - Knowledge of Cloud-based Xstore implementations (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure). - Experience with Microservices architecture and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins). - Retail industry experience, especially in multi-store or franchise environments. Education & Certifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Oracle Retail or Java-related certifications (preferred).
