Position Title : Oracle ORMB Apps DBA Required Experience : 8 Years Job Location : Preferred Delhi (Gurgaon or Noida). Work Mode : Hybrid (Work from office 3 to 4 Days a week) Work Timings/Shift : 01 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PM This position is for Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) Financials Application admin Support role for day-to-day activities and integrations with sub-systems in the financial space with 6 to 8 years of experience in similar role/capacity. Securing systems with regular vulnerability patching, upkeep of Oracle Middleware systems and ORMB. His/her function is critical to the performance and stability of IT infrastructure hosting business critical applications and services on a 24-7/365 basis Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) : - Lead the migration of on-premises Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB)) application and it's Oracle Database 19c from Solaris to OCI. - Design and implement OCI infrastructure for ORMB, including provisioning and configuration of required services such as compute, storage, compartments and networking. This requires in-depth knowledge of OCI services, including VCN, Subnets, Service gateways, Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Networking, Oracle Cloud Autonomous Services, and others relevant to ORMB infrastructure. - Set up and administer Oracle Cloud services relevant to ORMB, ensuring the architecture aligns with best practices for performance, scalability, and security. Handle day-to-day operational tasks within OCI, including but not limited to : - Backup and recovery strategies. - Database security, including encryption, access control, and auditing. - Monitoring and performance tuning of ORMB and databases. - Patching, cloning, and applying updates to the ORMB and Oracle Database environments. - Develop and maintain scripts or automation tools for routine maintenance, backups, and other administrative tasks. - Collaborate with internal teams to support application upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and other critical business processes. - Ensure all systems adhere to OCI best practices for security and compliance, including implementing appropriate auditing and monitoring solutions. Support and Maintenance of Oracle Fusion Middleware Applications & ORMB. - Daily support and management of Oracle Middleware Applications includes RMB, OSB, SOA, MFT and PEGA - Monitoring, Capacity Planning, In-Depth Trouble-shooting Performance issues for Oracle Fusion Middleware Tech Stack, Oracle Database's & Client, Oracle EBS and PEGA. - Troubleshooting Oracle Utility Framework issues, Batch Scheduling in ORMB - Expertise in Oracle Utility Framework Patching, Oracle Utility Upgrade and reconfiguration. - Experience on Hibernate, Perl scripting, irule scripting. - Expertise with RMB Troubleshooting. - Handling J2EE technologies : JSP, Servlets, EJBs, JMS, Web Services, SSL, JDBC, JNDI, load balancing, session clustering, and Service Oriented Architecture. - Write UNIX Shell & WLST Scripts to Automate System Administrator activities. - Configuring Local and Foreign JMS resources and Troubleshooting JMS issues - Manage SVN and create a DR strategy, and perform Annual DR Test. - Deploying the different type of applications (WAR, JAR, and EAR) in standalone and Clustered server environments of Application Servers. - Creating JDBC data source connections, identifying connection pools along with database configuration. - Remediate vulnerabilities on Oracle and Non-Oracle Tech stacks - Troubleshoot SSL issues, end to end encryption implementation F5 configurations. - Expertise in performing DB table partition & tuning. - Able to run DDL execution and Handle cm tool. - Ability to performance tune PEGA and scale up its architecture as business grows. - Troubleshoot Kafka, Pega engine and Node Type in PEGA - Pro-actively work with Prod Support Team, Project Teams to provide planning and ongoing support for Application Life cycle management. - Analyzing the Log Files, Thread Dumps and JVM Dumps. - Incident Management & Technical Assistance including Production and Performance diagnostics, technology assessments and troubleshooting day-to-day issues. - Liaise with Performance Testing Team to identify any performance related issues during UAT phase. - Expertise of UNIX / Linux Operating System's with understanding of Kernel parameters, File Systems and Volumes (NAS & SAN ). - Work with Unix and Network teams for configuring Load balancer VIPS and Installation of security certs etc. - Perform all kinds of Application upgrades including Oracle and Non-Oracle like Apache / JAVA / Weblogic / RMB / PEGA / and FMW Products. - Weekend Bounce, Maintenance and on-call Support for Production changes. - Sanity testing of Middleware Technology Stack components on regular basis. - Perform Annual DR Tests. - Month End Processing Support-Monitoring memory and space utilization. - Creating Severity TARs/SR and conduct OWC sessions with Oracle support to resolve issues. Application Refreshes - RMB Application refresh from Prod to Non-Prod Environments using customized process. - Multi Node to Multi Node, Multi Node to Single node Configurations on Weblogic. - Weekly/Adhoc Copy Prod environment refreshes from Production. - Applying Oracle Application patches - Applying Oracle FMW patches using Opatch / Framework options. - Performing Oracle Pre-patch analysis (Patch Wizard), Pre-config Analysis for Quarterly PSU, Security vulnerabilities and other required patches. - Applying patches on Oracle Middleware Home and for Weblogic Home - Applying Bug Fixes, Data fixes and other Oracle recommended patches (One-off, Overlay). - Application Code Migrations - Middleware Application Code Migrations from Development to QA, UAT and Production Instances. - Coordinate and work with Release/Change Management teams for deployments, Outages and code migrations across Prod and Non-Prod Environments. - Release Non-Disruptive, Disruptive Migrations across Non-Prod and Prod Environments. Performance Tuning : - Application tuning like OPP JVM memory usage. Troubleshoot java out of memory errors. - Webserver tuning. - Software/hardware load balancing tuning. - OJDBC/JDBC, hibernate tuning - Messaging tuning - DB tuning - Sql performance tuning Security and Compliance - Track Security Certificate expirations and request new certificates for Weblogic or Encryption Certs. - Work on Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates and user authentication. - Track and remediate Security Vulnerabilities , apply Critical Security Patch updates for Weblogic Applications - Quarterly Password Changes for Middleware Servers and adhere to SOX policies. - Work with D&T external Audit team and provide required Application changes evidence for Audit related Queries. Integration Support : - Support Oracle WebLogic for any integrations with Customized Applications - Support OAM /OID integration with RMB / PEGA for SSO. - Support OIM integration with RMB / PEGA. - Support SMTP/IMAP for Email/File transfer - GlobalScape. - Support PGP Encryption for SOA / MFT for Internal or External Vendor File Transfer. MISC Support : - Liaise with MGTI UNIX Server Ops for Monthly/Quarterly Patching Cycle Updates and Administration tasks on Solaris and Linux Servers. - Liaise with MGTI Windows Server Ops for Monthly/Quarterly Patching Cycle Update and Administration tasks on Windows Servers. - Liaise with MGTI Storage Team on Space requests, File system Backups and Year-End Special Backups. - Liaise with MGTI Network Team on Firewall Port Opening Requests, Load Balancers, And Virtual Ips. - Liaise with MGTI Dcops for Monitoring and alert suppression. - Coordinate and work with multiple MGTI Teams for Annual DR tests. Requirements : - Hands on experience in ORMB, Weblogic Install and configuration, Administration, Cluster configuration - Proficient with Oracle WebLogic and Oracle HTTP Server, apache, F-5. - Strong knowledge on performance tuning skill. - Strong Skill of troubleshooting. - Strong skill of DR. - Understand J2EE concepts and technologies : JSP, Servlets, EJBs, JMS, Web Services, SSL, JDBC, JNDI, load balancing, session clustering, and Service Oriented Architecture. - Experience in deploying the applications on multiple Application Servers and maintaining Load balancing and Fail over Functionality. - Deploying the different type of applications (WAR, JAR, and EAR) in standalone and Clustered server environments of Application Servers. - Creating JDBC data source connections, identifying connection pools along with database configuration. - Configuring JMS resources & Troubleshooting JMS issues - Familiarity with architecture to support Oracle Fusion applications - Knowledge on writing UNIX Shell & WLST Scripts to automate System Administrator activities. - Strong knowledge on SSL configuration & troubleshooting. - Strong hand on SOA, OBS, MFT. - Knowledge on SOA job scheduling & deployment. - Strong hand on SVN server management. - Strong knowledge on vulnerability remediation. - Hands on experience in Pega Install and configuration, Administration, Performance tuning & upgrade. - Experience in Pega migration from one platform to other. - Troubleshooting experience on Kafka, Pega engine, different node type - Hand on Pega upgrade. - Strong knowledge on performance tuning skill. - Strong Skill of troubleshooting. - Strong knowledge on messaging system. - Hands on experience on Pega troubleshooting. - Strong hand on Oracle utility Framework, batch scheduling ORMB installation & Configuration. - Strong knowledge on Oracle utility upgrade & re configuration. - Knowledge on packaging & delivery - Knowledge on quartz scheduler installation, configuration & job scheduling. - Strong knowledge of DDL execution & cm tool. - Hands on Oracle client & ojdbc calls. - Hands on mview creation & mv refresh. - Knowledge on hibernate, Perl scripting. - Hands on experience on FW/RMB troubleshooting. - Strong background on end to end encryption implementation, troubleshooting.
