Softpath Technologies - SAP TOSCA Test Engineer

Position : SAP TOSCO Testing - 3 Years of Experience Location : Bangalore, India Job Type : Summary : We are looking for an experienced SAP TOSCO Tester with a strong background in SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), MM (Materials Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules. The candidate will be responsible for performing system testing, regression testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing for the SAP applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3 years of experience in SAP functional testing to take on an exciting role with an established team. Key Responsibilities : Planning and Strategy : - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify critical testing needs in SAP FICO, MM, and SD modules. - Develop and document detailed test plans, including scope, resources, timelines, and testing methodologies. - Define test strategies, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on business requirements and system and Execution : - Conduct functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing for SAP FICO, MM, and SD modules. - Perform test execution across different environments (Quality, Production, etc.) using SAP TOSCO. - Analyze test results, log defects, and provide timely feedback to development teams. - Identify, track, and resolve any defects or issues identified during the testing : - Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other functional testers to understand business processes and technical specifications. - Coordinate with developers to understand application design and functionality to ensure proper test coverage. - Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure effective communication with business stakeholders regarding the testing Documentation : - Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases based on project specifications and requirements. - Document test results, track issues, and create test reports to communicate the testing progress. - Ensure proper version control and change management for test cases and test and Continuous Improvement : - Suggest areas for automation in the testing process for increased efficiency and effectiveness. - Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools to streamline workflows and enhance Transfer and Training : - Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions with junior testers and other team members. - Provide training on testing best practices and SAP TOSCO tools to new or junior Skills and Qualifications : : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related field. Experience : 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP testing, especially in SAP FICO, MM, and SD of SAP Modules : SAP FICO : Strong understanding of financial accounting, controlling, asset management, and integration with other SAP modules. SAP MM : Experience with materials management, procurement, inventory management, and integration with other SAP modules. SAP SD : Strong knowledge of sales and distribution processes, order management, delivery management, and billing in SAP. SAP Testing Tools : Experience with SAP TOSCO (Test Scripting and Testing Automation) or other SAP testing tools for functional and regression Techniques : Knowledge of various testing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps, and understanding of best practices for test automation, performance testing, and defect : Experience with test management tools like HP Quality Center, JIRA, and other defect tracking Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Skills : - Certification in SAP or any relevant testing certification. - Familiarity with SAP HANA or S/4 HANA environments. - Experience in automated testing or familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, etc. - Knowledge of integration between different SAP modules (e.g., SAP FICO, MM, and SD) and third-party applications.
