Senior Angular Consultant - TypeScript/Javascript

About the Role : We are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Angular Consultant with a strong foundation in front-end development and a passion for building intuitive, scalable, and high-performance web applications. This is a remote, contract-based opportunity ideal for professionals who have over six years of experience working with Angular (v8 and above), TypeScript, and associated front-end technologies. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing enterprise-grade applications, collaborating with designers, backend developers, and project stakeholders to create seamless user experiences. You will be expected to bring deep technical knowledge, architectural understanding, and a commitment to code quality and best practices. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain advanced web applications using Angular (v8), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to convert wireframes and visual designs into responsive and functional user interfaces. - Integrate with RESTful APIs and ensure high-performance data handling between front-end and backend systems. - Implement UI components with reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code using best practices. - Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit or MUnit frameworks to ensure code reliability and quality. - Participate in code reviews and maintain code versioning using GitHub and CI/CD tools like TeamCity. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and Product Managers, in an Agile or Waterfall environment. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance issues in the application across multiple browsers and devices. - Handle service request tickets via platforms like JIRA or ServiceNow and ensure timely resolution. - Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the solution modern and efficient. - Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers if required. Required Skills and Expertise : - Angular (v8.0) and TypeScript: Minimum 6 years of development experience building scalable and modular applications. - REST API Integration: Strong proficiency in consuming and interacting with RESTful services. - UI Frameworks: Extensive experience with Angular Material and Bootstrap for styling and layout. - UI/UX Implementation: Ability to transform Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch designs into pixel-perfect, functional components. - Version Control Systems: Practical experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity. - Testing: Knowledge of writing unit and integration tests using JUnit, MUnit, or similar frameworks. - Ticketing and Workflow Tools: Working experience with issue tracking tools like JIRA or ServiceNow. - Web Servers: Familiarity with deploying and running applications on Apache Tomcat or equivalent. - Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive web design. - Backend Understanding: Basic working knowledge of Java and integration with relational databases (MySQL, MS-SQL, Oracle). - Project Methodologies: Hands-on experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall development methodologies. - Communication Skills: Excellent communication (written and spoken) for effective stakeholder collaboration and documentation. - JSON Handling: Capability to work with JSON for API communication, configuration, and data manipulation (ref:hirist.tech)
