Job Description
Job Description : Key Responsibilities : Project Management : - Lead and collaborate on technology projects aimed at enhancing banking applications, from planning through to execution. - Ensure all projects are completed within scope, time, and budget. Application Development : - Design, develop, and implement new banking applications and features as part of a project team, using best practices and ensuring high performance and security standards. Stakeholder Collaboration : - Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables. System Integration : - Participate in the integration of various systems, ensuring seamless communication between banking applications and other platforms, such as payment gateways, core banking systems, or third-party services. Requirement Gathering & Analysis : - Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs for new application features or system enhancements. Agile Methodology : - Work within an Agile development environment, attending sprints, daily stand-ups, and project reviews to ensure timely delivery of features and solutions. Testing & Quality Assurance : - Lead or collaborate in system testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing) to ensure the applications meet the required functional and performance standards. Risk Management : - Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful execution and deployment of solutions without disruption to business operations. Post-Implementation Support : - Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for newly deployed applications, ensuring smooth transitions into live environments. Continuous Improvement : - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance application efficiency, user experience, and overall project outcomes. - This is an Internal document. Deployment Co-ordination : - Interact with deployment teams during production and UAT deployment. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automation tools. Qualifications : Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience : - 5 years of experience in application development, project management, or a related role in the banking or financial services industry. Skills : - Strong experience in application design, development, and integration in a banking context. - Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). - Familiarity with core banking systems and financial software. - Experience in using project management tools (e. , JIRA, Azure, Devops). - Knowledge of databases (e., SQL, Oracle), APIs, and integration techniques. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Experience in leading or coordinating teams of developers and stakeholders. Soft Skills : - Strong leadership and project management capabilities. - Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and quality. - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. - Adaptability to changing business needs and technological advancements (ref:hirist.tech)
