Job description For GXO Mechelen, we are looking for a colleague who will be responsible to make sure that the quality in production and packing of the products is always assured You will be working in the assembly hall checking the quality of goods moving them towards the correct process by use of the forklift. You make sure that every product leaves our warehouse in perfect condition. Your tasks include: - Packaging products and components according to instructions - Quality checks to ensure everything meets our high standards - Using a BT, a stacker and forklift to efficiently move goods - Performing a final inspection before shipping - Working closely with colleagues in production, warehouse, and logistics Profiel Who are we looking for? - You are precise and like to work in a structured way - You have experience in a logistics or production environment - You can work independently but also function well in a team - You are physically capable of performing standing tasks and moving goods - You speak and understand English in a professional environment - You have a forklift certificate Aanbod What can you expect? - A competitive salary based on experience, starting at €16.44 gross/hour - Meal vouchers worth €7 per worked day - Shift premium of 7.5% on the gross salary - Work in a two-shift system: 6 AM–2 PM / 2 PM–11 PM - Quick start with a temporary (interim) contract - Option for a permanent contract after 6 months of interim work
