Rental Sales Associate

Do you enjoy helping people get the job done? Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Cascade Home Center in Brookings Oregon is looking for a Rental Sales Associate to join our team and be the go-to expert for our tool and equipment rental department!

Requirements:

What You'll Do:

• Assist customers with renting tools and equipment — from lawn mowers to power drills and everything in between
  
• Provide knowledgeable advice on usage, safety, and availability
  
• Inspect equipment before and after rental for damage, cleanliness, and functionality
  
• Maintain accurate rental records, handle payments, and schedule returns
  
• Keep the rental area clean, organized, and well-stocked
  
• Collaborate with the sales floor team to provide great customer service
  

What We're Looking For:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
  
• A knack for tools, machinery, and DIY projects (experience a big plus!)
  
• Comfortable using computers or rental software
  
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and work on your feet
  
• Detail-oriented and reliable
  

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience in a hardware store or rental department
  
• Mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience with tools
