Job Description Job Description Job Title: Assembly Technician Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality products following detailed blueprints and specifications. In this position, you will contribute to the assembly process using both manual techniques and small machinery, ensuring each product meets our stringent quality standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret simple blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to verify assembly process and quality requirements. Take direction from supervisor to understand assembly procedures and production goals. Follow assembly procedures to build parts using hands and small machinery. Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers. Position, align, or adjust workpieces or parts to facilitate assembly. Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths. Pack finished parts for shipment, including labeling, bagging, and adding corresponding instruction information. Examine products to verify quality, including Bonnet to Body Testing and ECL testing. Identify quality issues, determine causes, and rework parts as necessary. Essential Skills Integrity - reliability, responsibility, and accountability. Working knowledge of the English language, both oral and written. Ability to perform work in a safe manner. High attention-to-detail and strong vision and hearing. Ability to learn new machines and production procedures. Ability to lift 45 pounds and perform repeated physical tasks. Manual dexterity for grasping and manipulating objects of varying sizes. Ability to stand for 8 hours a day. Skill in active listening and following directions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, packing, or machine operation. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of light industrial assembly processes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
