Job Description
Interested candidates, kindly mail to enpcareers.hrril.com Main Purpose: Senior Lead (Mechanical) exhibits technical expertise in rotating equipment, viz. Gas Turbine Generator, Centrifugal/Screw/reciprocating compressors, different types of pumps, Fans / Blowers and related auxiliaries and accessories. Act as the focal point for external communication related to mechanical maintenance activities and ensure coordination among the multi-disciplinary team. Takes primary responsibility to plan and implement Preventive, Predictive, breakdown, and shutdown activities in the SAP system. Takes primary responsibility for procurement/Storage, and management of Insurance/Capital/Operational spares. Act as a link to engage with O&M Contractor and RIL personnel, both Offshore and onshore. Must be well-versed with Reliability and Availability concepts and technically sound enough to carryout preliminary Root Cause analysis of the rotating equipment failures. Awareness of compliance with all applicable legislation, company policies, and procedures, and display thorough knowledge of industry standards and recommended practices. Ensures, highest level of system reliability and availability and resource optimization to the maximum potential, including personnel, equipment, multi-support vessels, and services. Undertake all the planned maintenance activities and ensure implementation of approved modifications for KGD6 assets. Job Accountabilities: Base co-ordination with the leads of all production and maintenance activities, including the Management of safety critical elements to ensure uninterrupted operations and achieve production targets. Maintenance Philosophy: Implement preventive, predictive, and planned (3P) maintenance and updates in SAP. Reviews task lists periodically for effectiveness and proposes amendments. Reviews all routine and special nature and allocates resources to perform maintenance activities. Improve in line with applicable KPIs. Provides critical input for maintenance-related activities of rotating Equipment. Maintains communication with OEM/Vendor and Class surveyor for periodical checks and planning corrective actions Ensure implementation of the Company Safety Management System, that is, compliance with legislation, company policies, standards and procedures and monitoring compliance by all other personnel. Prepare plans for equipment strategies, reliability, availability and maintainability and work toward continual improvement. Prepare budgets and monitor as per KPI. Demonstrate working knowledge in top side, marine, Hull, structural equipment for degradation mechanism and preventive / corrective actions. Involve in analysis, adivice, troubleshooting, start-up/shutdown of Rotating equipment. Work closely with OEMs and associate vendors for equipment availability and reliability. Material Management: Reviews Bill of Material and Spares required for procurement action and Initiate action for PR generation. Prepares Technical recommendations and suitable vendor lists and submit to Procurement. Issue clearance to received material after material inspection as per specifications. Reviews Risk Assessment / JSA for Critical Maintenance Activities; Implements PTW systems in maintenance activities; Reviews SOPs and SMPs prepared by Maintenance team as scheduled; Reviews MOC (Management of Change) proposals from discipline engineers. Supports the implementation of approved MOCs. Prepare Systems for start-up, monitor, shutdown and isolate as and when required. Participate in regular Emergency Response Drills whenever required. Facilitate implementation of corrective actions for audit observation, incident closeout recommendation and inspection / RCA recommendations. Preparation ARCs, AMC and monitoring of budget of operation, maintenance and future requirements and maintain optimum inventory for smooth operation. Liaise with relevant department heads to improve information sharing, efficiency of planning and scheduling of activities. Maintain effective cost control and promote cost awareness in others. Also Co-ordinate with contractors as and when required. Promote team building, training and development to ensure that the Company competence Assurance System is progressed. Qualification: Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Candidate should have mandatorily minimum 10 years of specific experience in Rotating Equipment Maintenance, with knowledge and hands-on work experience in maintaining rotating equipment in the Oil & Gas sector, with specific emphasison Offshore experience, Refineries, or the Petrochemical field. Additionally, the candidate should have a total of minimum 16 and maximum 20 years of overall experience in Mechanical Maintenance, including supervisory work experience.
