We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with Microservices experience working close to one of our main clients in banking sector. Main tasks and accountabilities will be: The Senior Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and high-performance microservices using Spring Boot and other key technologies. The candidate will focus on creating REST and SOAP APIs and integrating cloud services (AWS) to ensure the scalability and availability of applications. Additionally, they will ensure security, error handling, and implement advanced patterns such as Circuit Breaker. The candidate will also follow clean code principles and leverage CI/CD tools for continuous integration and delivery. Team structure: Multidisciplinary team with a focus on agile development. Key technologies: Java, Spring Boot, AWS (S3, DynamoDB, ECS), Docker, concurrency management, and queue handling. Experience with SOAP APIs and version control tools like Git. What UST expects from you? Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: 4 years of experience as a Java developer, focusing on microservices with springboot. Experience in developing REST and SOAP APIs. Knowledge of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL). Advanced knowledge in concurrent programming and thread management. Experience with Docker and security patterns such as OAuth 2.0. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and SonarQube. Experience with version control systems like Git. Experience with Swagger. Adherence to clean code principles for maintainable and scalable code. Good english level (B2-C1) NICE TO HAVE SKILLS Desirable experience with AWS (S3, DynamoDB, ECS, SNS, SQS).
