Job Description

Our client, a leading European player in the horticulture sector, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East, Africa, and Iberia regions. This role is part of the Global Business Area and is responsible for managing sales and customer relationships across selected markets, with a focus on two prominent brands within the professional horticulture segment. As Regional Sales Manager, you will be tasked with achieving sales targets, ensuring profitability, supporting technical needs, and driving growth in existing and new markets. You'll work closely with distributors and direct customers, seeking new opportunities across multiple horticultural sectors. This position reports to the VP of Sales for Middle East, Africa, Iberia, and Eastern Europe. Key Responsibilities: -Lead sales and business development in sectors such as Horticulture, Ornamental Plants, Medicinal Cannabis, Soft Fruits, and Mushrooms. -Implement strategic sales plans to grow market share and build long-term, profitable customer relationships. -Develop and maintain a distributor network and direct customer base, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition. -Achieve annual sales volume and margin goals. -Provide basic technical support to distributors and customers, working with product management to deliver suitable solutions. -Represent the brands at trade fairs, customer events, and industry functions. -Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Business Line and Product Managers, Customer Service, and Operations. Required Experience: - At least 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, and customer relationship management, ideally with technical knowledge of substrates. Academic Background: -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field; relevant work experience also considered. Languages: -Fluency in English and Arabic is required. French, Spanish, and Portuguese are highly valued. Requirements: -Comfortable using digital sales tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Power BI knowledge will be considered a plus. -Strong negotiation, communication, and commercial skills. -Availability for frequent international travel.
