Group Accountant

Your new company Hays Senior Finance are working with this service business based in Walsall to help them recruit a group accountant. Your new role The job of the group accountant will involve but not be limited to: Responsible for the consolidation of accounts Providing financial information to the finance and senior leadership team Production of reports Supporting and assisting with year-end statutory accounts Maintaining financial control and ensuring the accuracy of the financial reports produced Cashflow forecasting; supporting the production of monthly forecasts Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting and controls Adhoc production of analysis and reporting as and when requested What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have experience of consolidation of accounts. They will be either a qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidate who is happy working in a technical accounting role.
