CNC Machinist - Setter Operator Location: Harlow, Essex Job Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £37,500 Overtime rates Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 00 AM to 5.30 PM Friday: 7.00AM to 1.00 PM Job Description: We are looking for a talented CNC Machinist with expertise in CNC Milling and Turning. Milling is an essential skill-set, turning would be very desirable. As a Setter Operator, you will join this well-established family run precision engineering company. Your main responsibilities will include setting up, operating and maintaining CNC milling machines (and lathes) to manufacture high-precision parts and components. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines. Ensure quality control and inspect finished products for accuracy. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes. Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Miller, Setter Operator. Any CNC Turning beneficial. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills. Rate to be discussed at interview. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week - Good hours available.
