SMT Team Leader

SMT Team Leader Location: Bedfordshire Salary: £35-38,000 We are seeking a highly motivated SMT Team Leader to oversee SMT lines and machine technicians, This team plays a crucial role in assembling and delivering complex, high-value electronic products used in various industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical Devices and Manufacturing Neither ProTech or our client can offer sponsorship for this role, so do not apply if you do not live in the UK or have the correct right to work in the UK without sponsorship Skills and Experience: Previous experience within an Electronics Manufacturing environment, ideally within SMT Experience of setting, running and operating a range of SMT machines Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, industry standards and regulations. Experience in a high-technology environment. Working from Process Sheets and written/ verbal instructions from other members of staff. Team Leadership: Manage a team of SMT operators, programmers and engineers, with contractors added on a temporary basis as and when needed Act as a technical lead on specific projects. Allocate resources and forecast resource and capability requirements for projects. Provide input into planning, resource forecasting, and priority setting. Attend weekly meetings to outling performances, KPI's etc T echnical Expertise: Lead and deliver activities and plans across the SMT lines, ensuring products are delivered effectively, efficiently, on-time, and to specification. Supervise and support the operators in the teams Follow and communicate test procedures, processes, and technical documentation.
