Fund Financial Controller

Recruiting for an experienced Real Estate Fund Financial Controller to support across Corporate & Fund reporting on a 12-month FTC covering maternity. Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for the financial control and reporting of one or more real estate funds, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Responsible for the Financial statements preparation and review, management of audits Quarterly & annual accounts Preparation of VAT Oversee third-party fund administrators and ensure the quality and accuracy of NAV calculations, capital account statements, and investor reports. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the fund entities, liaising closely with asset management and investment teams. Monitor fund performance, KPIs, and compliance with fund documentation and investor requirements. Manage capital calls and distributions, including waterfall calculations and investor allocations. Oversee the audit process for the fund entities and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors. Ensure adherence to regulatory, tax, and accounting standards relevant to real estate funds (e.g., IFRS, INREV, GAAP). Support fundraising efforts, investor due diligence, and ad hoc queries related to fund performance and structure. Continuously improve fund finance processes, systems, and controls. Experience Required Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a minimum 5 years of experience Experienced working across Real estate Funds Strong Financial reporting & controls experience covering corporate entities
