Job Description This position is responsible for driving the sourcing process to execute Merchant strategies for Intimates/Sleepwear for Mexico and CA market, through building and maintaining supplier relationship Key Functions Strategic sourcing and optimize procurement process. Guide cross functional partners/suppliers to ensure product quality, delivery, and price objectives. Understand suppliers’ capability, capacity and performance, plan factories visit to monitor production and assess factory capacity. Data analysis and compilation of reports Conduct supplier assessment and formulate supplier matrix for the category. Maintain strong relationship with suppliers. Understand trade and political issues of the country and incorporate into sourcing proposal. Understand buying objectives, product specs (wherever applies) and communicate with the suppliers Effectively negotiate product and price and develop alternatives to achieve objectives. Present solutions that mitigate risk while maintaining profitability. Minimum Qualifications Deep knowledge of the sourcing process including various sourcing strategies Extensive knowledge and network in production supply chain Deep understanding of categories, supply markets, suppliers, and products Business development mindset Very strong analytic skills Ability to develop peer relationships with key stakeholders and across global organization Fluent English
