Leisure Travel Consultant

Position: Leisure Travel Consultant Location: Roodepoort, Gauteng Job Summary: Leisure Travel Consultants are responsible for providing exceptional service and expert advise to travellers, creating bespoke travel itineraries and booking all components of their trips. They are also responsible for achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall profitability of the business. If you have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure then this is the ideal role for you. Minimum Qualifications: Matric Diploma or Certificate in Travel and Tourism would be advantageous Minimum 1 year experience in sales or travel sales Excellent communication skills Strong sales and customer service skills Work well under pressure and tight deadlines Knowledge of the Amadeus system would be advantageous Proficient in use of reservation systems Passion for travel and knowledge of popular travel destinations Must be open to working weekends and public holidays Roles and Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals Design and sell customised travel itineraries to meet individual travel preferences, budgets and needs Provide expert advise on travel destinations, including visas and travel insurance Maximize sales opportunities through upselling, cross selling and promoting the companys preferred partners Maintain accurate records and client details, using the companys operational systems Manage customer complaints and queries in an efficient and professional manner Keep up to date with industry trends Benefits Working in a vibrant culture-centric company Many learning and growth opportunities Monthly salary and a lucrative commission structure with unlimited earning potential When you reach your sales goals you get to travel
