The "Kunsthochschule Bayern" network is a cooperation of the six Bavarian state art academies (music academies in Munich, Nuremberg and Würzburg, Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg and Munich, University of Television and Film Munich). In the area of digitization, a coordination office was created by the network. On behalf of the network, the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts is looking for a digitalization coordinator to start as soon as possible. System Engineer (m/f/d) E 13 TV-L, full-time, limited until 31.12.2027. Your area of responsibility As a system engineer, you are an all-rounder who feels at home in many areas of IT operations. In the Coordination Office for Digitalization, you will be responsible for Administration: You are responsible for the further development, monitoring and administration of the cross-university data center of the Bavarian universities of the arts. In doing so, you will be able to profitably apply your expertise from virtualization to the integration of specialist applications. IT project management: You will support the digitalization projects of the art colleges from a central location. The focus here is on the introduction of new software (e.g. document management system, collaboration tools), but also the development of IT concepts, e.g. in information security or network infrastructure. Application support: In addition to the technical administration of systems, you will also support the functional level during the planned software rollouts. The introduction of basic support structures during the project phase is also one of your tasks, in addition to advising employees.
