Job Description

Main purpose of the job: Customer Service - Ensure dayly adequate/ controlled staffing in department. Ensure that customer complaints are minimised. Liase on an ongoing basis with DC & Suppliers on products, trends, competitors, quality/ quantity of stock. Controlling orders, deliveries, displays, in-store promotional activities, product knowledge training, food safety training and wastage controls. Conduct weekly stock takes in the department. Maintain costings and GP's. Good communication skills Ability to use own initiative Scheduling - ensure that team are reporting for duty as scheduled Have the ability to combat shrinkage Discipline - ensure that all problems and queries are sorted consistantly as per the disciplinary procedures Stock management by utilizing all relevant reports within the system Ability to do costings and GP's
