Job Description

Sales Manager required with technical experience and knowledge to manage the sales team and and grow the business. To develop a business plan, sales strategy, set sales goals. Strong management / leadership skills. Roles and Responsibilities: Establishes the company sales and marketing strategy, sets goals and tasks, supervises their implementation. prepares and presents the sales budget of the company, supervises the processes in line with the sales budget. establishes and maintains effective customer relationships. ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. supervises the development of sales, selection of appropriate sales and communication channels, adjusts the business model to local conditions. initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets. develops marketing plans and supervises their implementation. is responsible for the sales and business relations with key customers. establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and Account Executives. makes key sales and pricing decisions within sales and marketing area. recruits, assigns KPIs and tasks and periodically evaluates the sales department staff. executes annual analysis of competition operating on the same markets, executes periodically analysis of sales and markets and presents it to the Board. performs regular backlog, pipeline and leads reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated markets. maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. Skills Required Relevant tertiary qualification essential - preferred technical (electrical engineering, power engineering, mechanical engineering, mining) or economic education Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience, at least 3 of those years should have involved team leadership, strategic management and delivery against team targets Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to the fast pace of the business Skill in organizing time and establishing priorities. Ability to use digital tools and communicate through digital means with the team and customers. Demonstrated the ability to create and deliver professional presentations. Proven ability to create and analyze reports to identify trends to problem-solve and drive. Extensive experience in Social media development strategies and traction, digital PR, influencer campaigns etc.
