Job Title: FNOL Claims Consultant Company Overview: Join our client's dynamic team, a leading provider of insurance solutions. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and support to their clients, and they are seeking a dedicated FNOL (First Notice of Loss) Claims Consultant to join their Claims Department. Position Overview: As an FNOL Claims Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our client's claims process by efficiently handling first notice of loss reports from clients. You will be responsible for gathering information, assessing claims, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth and timely claims experience for their policyholders. Key Responsibilities: Receive and process first notice of loss reports from clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Conduct thorough investigations to assess the validity and coverage of claims. Communicate with policyholders, agents, and third parties to gather additional information and documentation as needed. Evaluate claims based on policy terms, coverage limits, and regulatory requirements. Determine claim eligibility, coverage, and settlement options in accordance with company policies and procedures. Provide timely and accurate updates to policyholders regarding the status of their claims. Collaborate with internal teams, including claims adjusters, and legal, and fraud investigators, to resolve complex claims issues. Maintain detailed records of claims activities, correspondence, and documentation in claims management systems. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company guidelines throughout the claims process. Provide exceptional customer service and support to policyholders, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions. Qualifications: Matric, RE5, RE1 and FAIS credits. Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance claims handling, with a focus on FNOL. Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage types, and claims processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
