Job Description

Matric/Grade 12,coupled with related Diploma in Parts Management Minimum of 3 years Parts Management Experience in the Forklift/Material Handling industry essential Duties Achieve an acceptable market share, through maximizing sales of parts to trade and distribution to customers Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of governance, compliance, integrity and ethics Ensure processes are in place to identify and manage risk and expose liabilities Plan and manage financial activities in line with approved policies, processes and procedures Manage, identif0y and address customer needs by providing a variety of related parts, products and accessories, to enhance satisfaction and retention of customers Implement people resource planning in line with delivery, performance objectives and budget Coordinate and monitor the sales and marketing activities of parts, products and accessories for delivering against planned initiatives Ensuring all production orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules Communicating all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties Update and send out an ETA listing to all regions weekly Maintaining strict control over inventory levels to meet internal and external demand of the product Following up on all open orders and backorders regularly Ensuring parts information on Autoline is kept up to date and accurate Ensuring that the Autoline price file is updated when suppliers and OEMs adjust their pricing, or if the ROE goes above the factored rate Planning warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage and to achieve full warehouse optimization Considering full implications of freight turnover, size, weight and other factors when allocating warehouse space Managing annual returns to OEMs Managing creation of all SDRs and following up until credit note received Ensuring that the credit process is adhered to and approve all credit requests for the Parts Department Enforcing companys policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment Supervising a team of warehouse employees Identify and resolve all issues in the department and ensure achievement of all short and long-term objectives Assisting with recruitment paperwork and processes for the department. Investigating causes of lost or damaged shipments and other matters, adjusting where necessary Client visitswhen needed
