Job Title: Inventory/Warehouse Associate
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
As the Inventory/Warehouse associate, you will be responsible for providing hands-on assistance in the warehouse, consolidation and shipping areas. You are supporting your Supervisor on a daily basis.
Daily functions in this role include coordinating job assignments, organizing production workflow and completing processes. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues and monitoring overall efficiencies of the processes.
You are the key to a smooth operation and ensuring customer orders are shipped in a timely manner.
Being a team player is crucial to the success of this role. A positive, professional attitude is required.
Job duties Include (but are not limited to):
Using SAP to receive shipments, transfer inventory, pick inventory, consolidate and ship transactions
Prioritizing tasks (hot/urgent orders)
Overseeing general workflow in your area
Communicating daily with the team
Inventory/warehouse activities including:
Receiving and verifying products against packing slips
Placing products in appropriate areas in warehouse according to location
Managing inventory of supplies such as sewing notions, packaging materials and maintenance supplies
Training of team members in your areas
Maintaining quality control standards
Working with team members to understand parameters of acceptable product quality
Alerting Supervisor when quality issues arise or when recurring issues are discovered
Alert supervisor or managers for the need of halting production or shipping of product when necessary and communicating issues.
Communicating with the team via internal messaging (Slack)
Ensuring safety protocol is followed
Identify and communicate any unsafe conditions
Developing a working knowledge of at least three departments with the ability to work productively in those departments. Equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered for outside candidates.

Prior manufacturing experience a plus
