Job Description
Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree in financial/management accounting. Drivers license. Professional registration (full or part) would be useful but not required , for example SAIPA/ CIMA/ CA. Commercial experience minimum 5 years including leading teams. Sage or similar accounting system experience. Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of accountants and finance departments. Build relationships with internal sales and operations. Working Capital Management (Debtors, Creditors, Cash, Inventory). Assist with banking relations and manage an optimal financing environment. Final loading and approval of payments. Manage the external audits. Tax: (Corporate, VAT, Payroll). Ensure that all companies are tax compliant through timeous payments and submissions to the relevant authorities. Prepare and assist with group and company monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. This includes reporting to management, financiers, external service providers and wider staff on various finance and non-financial matters. Oversee the maintenance of accurate and complete fixed asset registers. Budgets. Lead the organisation in the preparation and presentation of the semi/annual budget and forecasting processes. Identify, maintain, and document the internal controls necessary to ensure accurate accounting and reduce financial risks. Cost saving initiatives. Identify and promote cost saving initiatives.
